Latrobe Pennsylvania Travel

My job was to write about one of the best public courses in Pittsburgh, Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and how I could get all the way to California from all over the country and not stop there. It should be considered one of the great landmarks of American golf, with a great golf course, great views, good golf and great people.

The park is located in the Laurel Highlands, Laurel Highlands National Wildlife Refuge, the largest of its kind in North America. Many of the state's most popular hiking trails are within walking distance, making them ideal for wildlife viewing and outdoor adventures.

If you are traveling with children, the Statler Fun Center may be of particular interest to you. With a variety of activities for children and a great child-friendly playground, it is another great place to visit with your children.

Latrobe Memorial Stadium is home to the Greater Latrobe Wildcats, and the school has been operating since 1966. Remember, the Pittsburgh Steelers will also hold their training camp in late July and early August, and thousands of fans will travel to the area to watch the team's game.

While the weather keeps visitors away, there are plenty of hotels in the area that compensate for the cool temperatures and even offer tours along the way to get an idea of what's on offer. The clay shooting range in the Latrobe Art Museum, a popular tourist attraction, is unique in itself.
