Dr. Ken Fisher grew up in Stamford, CT, and now lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with his wife and two children.
After attending veterinary school at the University of California, Davis, Dr. Fisher spent many years as a biology teacher in high school before teaching at various veterinary schools in the United States and abroad, including the College of Veterinary Medicine of the American Veterinary Medical Association in New York City. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine from Dartmouth College and from there he went to Ohio State University, where he received a PhD in Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from veterinary school, he practiced veterinary medicine large and small at St. Joseph's Hospital in Philadelphia, where he discovered his love of surgery, ophthalmology and dermatology.
He graduated from Saint Vincent's College in Latrobe, Pa., and moved to the Pittsburgh area after receiving his master's degree in veterinary medicine from West Virginia University. He has lived in the area for 20 years and lives with his wife and four children in their current home in West Pittsburgh.
Dr Fisher hikes, camps, runs and does winter sports, spending most of his free time in family activities. Dr Fisher also runs his own business, Cabin Spa & K Veterinary Clinic in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and enjoys running. In order to maintain pets, veterinary physiotherapy can be indispensable for the long-term health and well-being of the pet. Physical therapies for pets are also useful to complement other treatments your pet may undergo, such as acupuncture, chiropractic, massage or massage therapy. In the Cabin spa & K - vet we also offer training and stability equipment that complements your treatment protocol.
