Jeannette McKee El/Middle School Reviews

I'm not originally from this area, however, my 4 children attend Jeannette McKee. It is honestly such a great school. The teachers are all so caring. The school is well organized/structured. The building is nice. I don't think I could be happier with any school district, especially when I talk to parents in other districts. The school really respects parent opinion and welcomes it.

this school is a Blue Ribbon School. all the teachers know my kids names.

I love the city of Jeannette and it's been my home for my entire life. I however will leave my personal love of a city out of my review of the quality of the school system. I also attended Jeannette schools when the elementary schools were seperate and the middle school was it's own entity. I loved the closeness and bond you got through a small class size where everyone knew one another. The teaching was mediocre and run of the mill in all honesty. The teachers at the schools are no different in many cases you'll find a school board member related to a teacher or a principal.

I went to Jeannette when it had the elementary schools different places and the middle school in downtown. Then when I was in fifth grade they became one. I think that this school district is a wonderful school district. I would not have wanted to go to a different school. I know when I get married and I have children of my own I will be sending my children to Jeannette. And when they combined all the elementary schools and the middle school. I believe that was a great idea, because then you will know the kids of your age.

When I was in school there I always said, 'I don't like that teacher!' 'I hate this teacher!' But that wasn't the truth. I loved the teachers there I just didn't like them when they gave us homework or told us not to do something we weren't suppose to be doing. It is a tradition to say things about teachers when the give out homework. Haha. I loved school and I remember it and it makes me smile. This school is a good school.
